Public Transport
Travelling directly to the office by Public transport from either Gare De Nord (Eurostar) or Charles de Gaulle (Airport) is both cost effective, fast (About an hour) and reliable. In both cases the entire journey can be completed by taking two fast underground trains (RER) and a short bus journey. It is advisable to get a travel card from the manned ticket booths (Billets) at the station, English speaking booths are marked with a flag, a weekly travel card costs about €21 and covers all travel in Paris.
To travel by RER you must first select your line, then Direction, RER lines are identified by letters; metro lines by numbers.
- Take the RER line B (Blue) direction "Saint-Rémy Les Chevreuse"
- Get off at: Saint-Michel Notre Dame, one stop from Gare de Nord
- Follow signs for the RER line C (Yellow)
- Take the RER line C (Yellow) direction "Versailles Rive Gauche"
- Get off at: Chaville Vélizy (10 stops)
- The number 14 bus which can be found immediately outside the station, will take you to the office, which is clearly visible on approach by a large Sun Logo. If needed, taxi's can be found on the other side of the tracks reachable via an underpass.
Buses and trains run at least every 15mins during peak times.
Taxi
Taxis are able to take advantage of priority routes in Paris, although generally journeys are slow and difficult.
- The nearest International Airport is Aeroport D'Orly which is about 40 mins taxi drive.
- Travelling from Charles De Gaulle is a long journey (the other side of Paris) and may take up to 2 hours, expect to pay €80-120
- Travelling from Gare de Nord (Centre of Paris) is not as far (1-2 hours) and journey time depends on traffic disruption, expect to pay €50-80
