How to Reach Grenoble by Train from Paris
There are regular direct high speed trains (TGVs) to Grenoble from Paris Gare de Lyon railway station and also some from Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport itself.
Paris Gare de Lyon to Grenoble
There are frequent TGVs to Grenoble from Paris Gare de Lyon train station throughout the day. To get from Paris CDG airport to the Paris Gare de Lyon station you have the following options:
- Taxi
- RER (Parisian suburban light rail network). Take RER B, change at Chatelet Les Halles, then take RER A one stop in the direction of Marne-La-Vallée/Boissy-St-Léger.

- If there is no appropriate direct TGV, select a train that changes at "Lyon Part Dieu". Trains that change at Lyon Part Dieu take about 4 hours.
- DO NOT select a train that changes in Paris, as this will usually involve changing stations from Paris Gare du Nord to Paris Gare de Lyon, which are on opposite sides of the city.
